C3 has been working on the Fuel Up to Play 60 program since its inception, developing in-school strategies student leaders and adults can use to improve the healthy eating and physical activity environments in their schools.
FUEL UP TO PLAY 60
The C3 creative team developed a series of lesson plans, interactives, and fictional stories to provide students an opportunity to learn important nutritional concepts while applying reading, literary, and higher-level thinking skills.
ARIANNA'S NUTRITION EXPEDITION
C3 worked with Gareth Stevens Publishing to produce, in a two month period, over 180 teacher guides to complement reading materials designed to supplement Harcourt School Publishing’s “Mathematics Concept Readers” for grades K–6.

C3 was hired by JASON to align resources to state standards, develop lessons, and provide expert panel review of the program’s online courses. The highlighted projects demonstrate C3’s expertise in the areas of content alignment with learning standards and teacher resource materials development.
THE JASON PROJECT
LESSONS, ASSESSMENTS, STANDARDS ALIGNMENT
C3 has developed lessons, online activities, and student reproducible materials to support dozens of National Geographic priorities. Working with the Geographic's priorities on Explorers in Residence, social responsibility issues, and multimedia opportunities, C3 created multiple engaging lessons and independent student activities.
PLATO, now Edmentum, made a focused effort both to increase the company’s offerings and to improve the quality and relevance of course materials for a variety of situations in school districts around the country. C3 developed or provided significant content to the development of over 35 courses, created teacher professional development materials, and developed a comprehensive assessment library.
COURSEWARE, ASSESSMENTS, TRAINING
C3 has developed supplemental curricular modules for a variety of organizations and businesses, resulting in over 300 teacher-centered and student-centered lessons and activities, reaching millions of students across the nation. While many of the projects were commercial in nature, C3 was contracted to bring an educator perspective to the materials and themes.
C3 developed and managed a team of over 20 SMEs to locate, review, and catalog over 50,000 educational resources for use in a custom-designed educator search engine. The effort spanned the websites of seven expert education organizations, including NCTE, NCTM, AAAS, and more.

GATORADE'S "KNOW SWEAT"
C3 partnered in the development of SURATION, a search engine customized for educator, student, and parent experiences. C3 was the driving force in developing the architecture, filters, fields, curation process, and reviews of resources for inclusion in the search engine.
C3 contracted with the National Geographic Society to create lessons to support NOAA’s Oceans Live! Project highlighting through video and instructional content current challenges faced by each of the National Marine Sanctuary’s locations.
NATIONAL COUNCIL OF TEACHERS OF ENGLISH
CONTENT AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
C3 has an ongoing working relationship with the National Council of Teachers of English to provide content development, technical support, and professional development. C3 has thus far created two online professional development courses for NCTE, and has worked with the organization to outline several additional courses for future development.
NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ASSOCIATION: OCEANS LIVE!
C3 designed and created a professional development course for teachers (with graduate credit available) to explore the use of technology in student learning as preparation for the International Society of Technology in Education's certification program.
